Bridge to Sipoonkorpi National Park
Sipoonkorpi National Park is easy to reach via a bridge over the old Porvoo road (Vanha Porvoontie) called Sudentassu, “a wolf’s paw”. The bold steel bridge itself is worth seeing - it is built between two steep rocky slopes and it is 20 meters (65ft) high and 126 meters (413ft) long!
The trail to Sipoonkorpi bridge starts by the large smoke sauna and is marked with orange signs. The bridge is open for both hikers and cross-country skiers.
More information and Sipoonkorpi trail maps can be found on Sipoonkorpi National Park Homepage.
Ice swimming - A source of wellbeing
"Isn’t it a very Finnish way to get to know a new person, on hot sauna’s wooden benches just before dipping into ice cold water of Kuusijärvi lake?"
